Falcon Leap 2017

The annual Falcon Leap exercise organized by the Royal Netherlands Army, 11 Air Mobile Brigade together with their Royal Netherlands Air Force colleagues from 336 squadron took place from September 13 until September 15.

Due to the weather over the landing zones half of the planned missions were cancelled.

Air Education and Training Command (AETC) Hercules over the drop zone. followed by a Polish Air Force C-295M
Based on wind force pathfinders on the ground give the go / no-go.
     
German Air Force C-160D overhead  paratroopers jumped from the aircraft in front of the Transall. Landings in progress during one of the runs of the transport aircraft.
Jumps are made from the ramp of the Polish C-295M compared to the doors of the C-130's and C-160.

The Apache and Cougar helicopters assigned to DHC 300 and 301 squadrons rehearsed their demo's which they
     
would perform during the first and second wave of the |WII Operation Market Garden commemoration jumps
     
   
on the Saturday.
